so we talk-talked as the dust settled, watched the ceiling ripple on rose petals/
shell-shocked, watching the sun melt upon the dash, foot light on the pedal/

texts to me throughout turmoil
and gets a smile on my face again and again/
we're togetherish but at least we're together
and we're still daydreaming scenes/
no director in, but we film on set
even though we go and paint green on screens/
she's so far away but I feel so close to her, may just be real/
no phantom pain, but phantom pleasure and of course I'm set on making a sequel/
